Adopt a loving dog to bring joy and happiness into your home

GARC saves abandoned and homeless dogs, relocating them into new loving homes.

The vision of GARC runs deep in the hearts of our team. Abandoned or unwanted dogs and puppies taken into their care are given shelter and love until a lasting home is found for them. These rescued dogs bring light and joy to families with children, senior citizens, and people with special needs. GARC facilitates the adoption process so these special animals can relocate to just the right home!

Why adopt me

Peetey is a certified therapeutic dog. He loves to snuggle, and give and receive affection. He is gentle and kind to small animals and children.

Peetey’s owner has to care for her elderly father, whom suffered from stroke. Peetey weight 75 lbs was a too big to stay indoors while she cares for her father and her children. Peetey was left outdoor exposed to environmental elements without any protection during the day.

She tried to get Peetey help from others rescued, but were turned-down. Feeling ashamed and helpless, the owner’s friend reached out to us for help.

Without delay, we scheduled Peetey for a check-up. He was tested heart-worm positive. After a period of treatments, he is now heartworm negative. Peetey loves to give and receive affection. Would you open your heart and home to Peetey?

Why adopt me

My litter mates and I were dumped in the middle of a highway. Someone picked us up and brought us to GARC. The volunteer nourished us back to health. Now we are ready to play fetch with our new family.
